Simplicity 7 Series Logo and Packaging
Created in 1989, Simplicity Vacuums represents a premier line of upright and canister vacuum cleaners marketed exclusively to independent retailers.

Challenge

When simplicity wanted to extend their line of premium vacuums they wanted to brand it with a strong and consistent image that leveraged the Simplicity brand.


Solutions

All of the Simplicity machines used a four digit numbering system that dealers were familiar with so we named the line “Simplicity 7 Series.” We created a contemporary type treatment that used a 7 as a link between the Simplicity brand and the new name.

The new brand was integrated into the product design as well as into packaging and marketing literature.
