Challenge The Saint Louis Symphony is more than its name implies. The world-renowned orchestra is the flagship of a growing umbrella organization that includes Youth Orchestras, a Community Music School, a Volunteer Association, and a Community Outreach program. Our challenge was to create a new identity for the Symphony which communicated its growth and linked it to its various franchises. | Solutions Wehrman & Company created a wordmark that accommodates the six different components that make up the Saint Louis Symphony. The primary element is hand-crafted script lettering, white-reversed from a rectangle color-coded by organization. The artistic script is juxtaposed with distinctive typography that identifies each organization under the Symphony's umbrella. The solution gives all member organizations a strong association with the Saint Louis Symphony. |
