Belden Inc. is a specialty wire and cable manufacturer serving computer, audio/video, industrial, and electrical markets worldwide.

While Belden specializes in developing wire and cable solutions for multimedia and other highly sophisticated applications, it is often perceived to be in the commodity wire business. Wehrman & Company's challenge was to develop an annual report which clearly communicated Belden's leading-edge, high valued-added position.

"Wiring the Future" is the message of Belden's 1996 annual report, which opens with eight pages of dynamic, colorful photos representing the high-tech industries Belden serves. Following this quick picture story, the report features a frank narrative interview with key management, who respond to questions frequently asked about the company.
