
When Labfire
was incorporated in 2001 by Ian Wehrman and Cory McIlroy, they realized
the importance of both corporate branding and product branding.
Our first challenge was designing an integrated branding system
to link their products to their corporate name in a way that would
be noticed, remembered and easily understood.
Because their
clients also include marketing and advertising firms, a strong design
attitude was needed to communicate their understanding of the industry's
wants and needs. |

Adhering to classic design
standards of typeface and color, we created a simple brand mark
that included both logotype and a symbolic flame icon. Using limited
colors and type weights, we extended the system to create matching
brands for their software tools Firefly and FireEngine.
In
addition to creating business stationery, our design
teams worked closely with Labfire to design their
web site http://labfire.com/
with a clean, design attitude that was fast loading,
minimal in graphics and strong in brand messaging. |
