Applied Digital Solutions (formerly Applied Cellular Technology) is a full service communications company that provides a wide range of products and services to the wireless, telecommunications and digital data industries.

Our challenge was to redesign the company's existing site to reflect the market position of Applied Cellular Technology to investors, customers and employees. Because ACT consisted of 30 subsidiary companies, our goal was to have easy access to information about each company's products and services.
In 1999 the company changed its name to Applied Digital Solutions and reorganized into five divisions.

We designed the original site with an emphasis on investor information and current news stories about the company's growth. Visitors could learn about the company's strategy for growth in a corporate overview area or jump to any of its four business groups and then to subsidiary companies' pages to learn more specific details. News stories were updated weekly and posted on the home page within a system of colorful panels.
The corporate brand mark was the inspiration for a graphic system of colorful rings that served to identify and unify each section title bar. This graphic system of rings was also incorporated into the company's annual report, quarterly reports, investor presentation materials and marketing brochures.
