Challenge

This company repairs underground sewers and pipes without digging up the streets and without the disruption of commerce and traffic in municipal areas. Our challenge was to illustrate the inversion process of lining a pipe with a flexible tube which is then cured in place, forming a new "pipe within a pipe."

Solutions

We created this animation to illustrate the process of repairing a pipe from the inside using the inversion process. Although the process is not new, many people still find the inversion process difficult to visualize and animating the process provided a clear demonstration of the various steps.

The animation is used on the Insituform^® web site and and as a demonstration tool in training presentations, trade shows and investor presentations. The graphics were also used in printed brochures that directed readers to the web for more information and an animated version.
